4D Audio is an audio recording and music production company based in Queens, NY. Combining thoughtful, personalized service with strong sonic sensibility, we produce high-quality sound recordings for our clients. Our focus is bringing your ideas to life; getting on your level and aiding you through the recording process.
4D Audio is operated by music producer & sound engineer Steven Pardo. Steven began learning audio recording at 13 years old, when he started an internship at Cove City Sound Studios. He later went to the University of Miami to study Music Business, where Steven earned engineering credit on the Grammy-nominated record “With Love” by Jeremy Fox. In 2013, Steven worked under 14-time Grammy winning producer/engineer Ron Saint Germain. By 2014, Steven founded 4D Audio Productions. He has since worked on records for several dozen recording artists including David Rothschild, Alejandro Elizondo, Mauricio Maestro, Dan Saulpaugh, and Kellon Anderson. He’s recorded voiceovers for TV, radio, and audiobook formats. He also engineered and co-produced the podcast ‘Wait Wait Don’t Kill Me’ for Wondery Podcast Network, which won the Webby award for Best Sound Design/Original Music Score.
4D Audio’s private home-studio has been renovated into two acoustically-designed sound rooms, providing floating floors and acoustic treatment in each. The studio offers high-quality analog recording equipment, including a Neve Portico II and an SSL Nucleus mixing console. We use ProTools DAW with many great plugins. The studio also provides backline including drums, guitars, electric bass, keyboard, amps and percussion. Conveniently located in Astoria Queens, we are only a 5 minute walk from the Astoria-Ditmars subway station.
We have great relations with musicians, studios, and creatives all across NYC. Let us help you produce your next project!
